BE SUREI was purchasing this book as a gift for my future daughter-in-law, a beautifully put together book but not really what I was expecting from it, I was hoping for the traditions of a typically Christian wedding but the book is filled with the traditions of countries & individuals rather than individual religions. Hard to find anything relevant. Needless to say interesting but not answering the questions being put to me by our future bride to be. Perhaps there is a niche there for someone else to fill?
Fantastic book!As I was browsing in Waterstones for a wedding planning book, I stumbled upon 'Wedding Vows & Traditions' and had a flick through. The first vow/poem I read almost made me cry there and then in the shop and I just had to buy the book. Having read the whole book in one evening I would say this is a must for anyone who is looking to chose their own vows. There really is something for everyone in this book, and although some of the vows were not to my taste there was more than enough to chose from. This book is also beautifully presented with gold pages inside and material covering the outside and will be a lovely keepsake to remind me of chosing my vows.
