Good book for medicines etcThis book explains in good clear English all the uses and side effects of most everyday medicines in the UK (although my version isn't bang up to date for the very latest ones).
Concise Guide to Medicines & DrugsThis is an excellent book for anyone working the Pre-Hospital care field, it has the same information as the larger version but in a size that's small enough to fit into a jacket pocket or workbag for quick and easy reference whilst on the job.
Clearly laid out with drug types, groupings and an alphabetical listing makes it easy to find the info on the relevant drug very quickly.
It also has a full drug index listing not only the generic drug names but it includes the proprietary names as well so it is very user friendly.
Highly recommended and definitely worth the low price, it will pay for itself very quickly in use, you'll wonder how you managed without it..!!
